Message from the President of the GB

In the 21st Century no nation can dream of success without advancement of education. “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”, said Nelson Mandela. Education is one of the main keys to economic development and improvement in human welfare. As global competition grows sharper, digital education system has become an important source of competitive advantage and appears to be one of the determiners of standardization of life. As the world is going through the technological revolution, adoption of new technologies in the educational system is the most important factor.

Recently, the people of Bangladesh have become overwhelmed with the term “Digital Bangladesh”, that the present Government of Bangladesh declared as a vision, to build “Digital Bangladesh” by 2021. Digital education is one of the inter-related components of this term.

Since the establishment, Major General Mahmudul Hasan Adarsha College has been maintaining a strong academic tradition to uphold its glory and dignity. This college has awarded the prestigious Presidential Gold Medal for being the best college in Bangladesh in 2003 AD.

I am really delighted for the digitalization of Major General Mahmudul Hasan Adarsha College. I think that digital components can improve the qualities of learning of the students.

At the end, I want to give thanks to the members of the Governing Body, teachers, staffs and students of this college for their initiatives that demonstrate this digitalization.

Thanking you

Alhaj Md. Sanowar Hossain

President of the Governing Body of

Major General Mahmudul Hasan Adarsha College, Tangail and
